Fishing is popular on Loch Awe and boats can be hired on a daily or hourly basis from the hotel, 1/2 a mile away. Day trips are popular to Dunoon, Inveraray, Oban and Lochgilphead. There are 2 hotels with good restaurants within a short walk. Shops 8 miles.Cherry Tree Lodge French doors from the lounge open onto a lovely sun deck with patio furniture and a top of the range hot tub from where you can fully appreciate the spectacular surroundings. The lodge is cosy and welcoming, ideal for a romantic get-away at any time of the year. There is ramp access for guests with walking difficulties.1 double and 1 twin bedroom, very comfortable lounge open plan to dining area and superb pine clad kitchen, smart bathroom with shower over bath. Pack a picnic and enjoy messing about on the water! Fishing for wild brown trout is free for Cologin guests from our own boat on Loch Gleann a'Bhearraidh!
