Camping de la Cote de Nacre is in an excellent location on the outskirts of St Aubin-sur-Mer and close to miles of superb sandy beaches and Caen port. The site is modern, well-maintained and family-run with a pleasant French atmosphere.

The grassy emplacements, play areas and heated lagoon pool with slides make this an ideal location for young families, while there are good facilities to keep teenagers happy too. Relax with a book on the spacious sun terrace by the swimming pool, overlooked by the bar terrace or join in with the site-organised sports competitions. From Ouistreham:
Head out of the port and take the D35A in the direction of Colleville Montgomery.
From here, get on the D35, in the direction of Hermanville and La Délivrande. You will need to go through the centre of La Délivrande, following signposts for St Aubin*, along the D7.
You will pass a Super U, which you need to keep to your left as you leave the town.
As you come into St Aubin, go straight over at the roundabout.
Follow this road for about 100m, then take a left hand turn into a housing estate (following signs for Camping la Côte de Nacre).
Follow this road to the left and then to the right and you will see the site straight ahead of you.

From Caen and the south:
Exit the Caen ring road (heading north) at junction 5, following signs for Courseulles along the D7.

Local Area

The coastal resort of St Aubin-sur-Mer is a fifteen minute walk from site. This is a typical Norman holiday town, its long promenade lined on one side by many bars, cafés and restaurants and on the other with a long, sandy beach. The beach is gently shelving and is great for swimming and stretches for miles in each direction. The large town of Caen is 12 miles from site.

Take a trip to the family amusement park of Parc Festyland in Bretteville-sur-Odon (11mls). Visit the thirty attractions and shows, including the Pirate Boats and the Viking City. The Museum for Peace Memorial in Caen is well worth a visit, offering an audio visual history of 20th century history.
