Trixi Holiday Park is located in a 15 hectare nature park in the German state of Saxony, at the point where Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland meet. Part of the holiday park is a family camp site, and it also has a wonderful tropical leisure pool with slides and an enormous natural swimming lake with lawns on the edge of the woods. There is also an extensive leisure centre: Trixis Saunalandschaft with Finnish saunas, an oriental bathhouse, biosauna, whirlpool, herbal baths, massage practice and relaxation rooms.
You will camp on a pitch with plenty of space and comfort.

Local Area

This site is located in a beautiful part of Germany: the Zittauer Gebirge nature park in the middle of the Oberlausitz region. A region with low maintain ranges. The highest point is the 793 metre high Lausche.
Also in the vicinity is the health spa Jonsdorf, Hainewalde Castle and many picturesque German villages. Bertsdorf-Hönitz, for example, once chosen as Saxony's loveliest village. The village of GroBschonau is just a 1 km walk or cycle ride. The capital Dresden is 100 km from the camp site.

The available chalets have more space and comfort than 'classic' static caravans and there is usually more storage space.
The interior is typically as follows: Living room with entrance and a dining/sitting area (which can usually be adapted into an additional double bed), Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with two single beds or bunk beds.
Bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet (sometimes a separate toilet). Fitted kitchen with a 2 to 4 ring gas hob and fridge. Plenty of storage space for personal possessions. In most cases your chalet will have a covered wooden terrace with garden furniture for relaxing outdoors.
Some camp sites offer bungalows. These differ very little from chalets regarding the interior. It is possible that one or more of the bedrooms will be upstairs, and you should also be aware that not all bungalows are detached.
