Local Area
A county of contrasts, Essex offers something for everyone – lively, traditional seaside resorts, a beautiful, unspoilt coastline and miles of glorious countryside. So what better way to discover its pleasures than to take a fun-filled break at one of our family friendly holiday parks in Essex? When you enjoy Hoseasons caravan holidays in Essex, you’re never far from lovely beaches and a whole host of entertainments and amusements – there’s certainly plenty of family fun to be had in holiday parks at Clacton-on-Sea or on the famous piers at Southend and Walton on the Naze. For quieter moments, there’s a glorious coastline whose river estuaries and peaceful saltmarshes are a birdwatchers’ delight.
Inland, explore the beautiful, timeless landscape that inspired the painter John Constable. Follow one of the county’s circular cycle routes, or head south for lovely rambles in Epping Forest’s ancient woodland. Wherever you tour from our holiday parks in Essex, don’t miss a trip to the Roman remains at historic Colchester – Britain’s oldest recorded town – or a visit to the town’s famous zoo. And don’t forget, good road and rail links make it easy to spend a day enjoying the sights in London.

The facilities are all so close together which is fantastic. I was able to take both teenagers and younger children together and they were all able to be entertained. They cannot wait to return!

This holiday is ideal with small children, everything is close together, the swimming pool, outdoor play area, restaurant area, bar and entertainment for the children. The shop was small and covered all the essentials but not over the top with the add on sales.

A very good value for money holiday. I know I had to take the children out of school but for a cheap holiday it was worth it.
