Nearby is the port of La Trinite-sur-Mer, with an amazing array of racing yachts in the harbour, and the dramatic Quiberon peninsula. Take a boat trip to Belle Ile or the Gulf of Morbihan, or watch the sand yachts racing on the beach. Ancient Vannes with its popular aquarium and picturesque Auray, with its excellent weekly market, are well worth a visit.

This nature reserve was created in 1996 and extends over 410 hectares of land. This reserve is of international importance for supporting the reproduction of migratory birds. Four observatories with telescopes allow visitors to watch the birds.
