A truly tranquil setting for those seeking peace and quiet, yet with many pleasant little towns to discover nearby.
A great favourite with families. This is a really attractive and relaxing parc, which is especially suited to young families thanks to the excellent shade given to most pitches by the tall pines throughout the parc.
The nearest beach is pleasant if rocky, but you’ll also find a beautiful sandy beach just a few minutes’ drive away. Within the parc itself, there’s a popular terrace bar which overlooks the lovely L-shaped pool, where evening entertainment takes place in high season.
Close by you’ll find the charming little town of Jard, with a wide range of shops, cafés and restaurants lining the winding narrow streets, as well as a small yachting port.
Add to all this some day trips to Les Sables d’Olonne, La Rochelle and Luçon and you have all the ingredients for a memorable family holiday.

Take the D21 from La Mothe-Achard, turning left onto the D21 as you reach the edge of town.
You will go across a level crossing, then coming to a roundabout that you go straight across.
You then pass through the village of La Chapelle, Achard and Grosbreiul.
In Grosbreiul, just after you enter the village, you come to a ‘T’ junction at which you turn right.
As you leave the village, after 2/3 mile there is a left hand turning which you take in the direction of ‘Talmont St. Hilaire’.
As you enter Talmont, you go down a hill with the Château on your right hand side.
At the traffic lights turn left onto the main town thoroughfare in the direction of ‘Lucon/La Tranche’.
As you come to the top of the town there is a righthand turning to ‘Jard-sur-Mer/La Tranche’ which you should take.
Follow this road (the D21) to Jard-sur-Mer, passing Super U supermarket on the right hand side.
As you approach Jard-sur-Mer continue straight ahead and turn right at the church (Camping Les Ecureuils is sign-posted from here).
Follow the road round to the right, following signs for ‘Camping’ and ‘Port de Plaisance’.
There is a football stadium on the left-hand side, which you go past.
At the roundabout, turn left.
Continue down the wooded road until you reach a ‘T’ junction (with a small access road leading to the beach directly in front of you), where you should turn left.
After about 500yds.
You will see the campsite on the left-hand side (the entrance is quite well hidden and not clearly sign-posted).
