Camping la Baume is set on the edge of the Esterel forest. The facilities here are unrivalled, and although this is a large and lively site, the woods and terraced landscaping give it a smaller, more intimate feel.

The tropical pool complex is sure to be a favourite with all of the family. Fringed with palm trees and surrounded by a sweeping sun terrace, there are five pools, a separate lagoon pool and six twisting waterslides, plus a jacuzzi. There are plenty of activities to choose from, including a fully equipped gym, tennis and archery. As the sun goes down, enjoy a meal at the popular restaurant and bar where there is entertainment throughout the season. Please note that nearby traffic noise can be heard from some parts of the campsite.

From the east and west on the A8:
Leave the A8 autoroute at junction 38 for Fréjus and St Raphaël.
At the first roundabout take the 2nd exit towards Fréjus on the D37.
Go straight over at the next roundabout and turn right at the 3rd roundabout towards Bagnols-en-Forêt.
Turn right onto the D4 at the next roundabout.
Continue along the D4 and the site is signposted on the left from this road before you reach the motorway bridge.

From Nice Airport:
Join the A8 Autoroute, direction Cannes, Fréjus / St Raphaël and take the exit at junction 38 direction Fréjus.
Take the first exit at the roundabout and then take the exit for the D4 at the following roundabout.
Continue along the D4 and the site is along here on the right.

Local Area

The popular tourist resort of Fréjus sits three miles from site. Here you’ll discover an excellent range of amenities along twisting narrow streets and a fabulous market on Thursdays and Saturdays. There is also a wonderful beach. Stretching for over two miles it has a gently shelving shoreline, ideal for younger children. This is a good location for watersports enthusiasts, with plenty of facilities available.

Aquacity (3mls) makes for a great family day out, with waterslides of every description. Visit the amazing underground cave of Grotte de Baume Obscure. Tours are available in English and take you 70m underground through dramatic and ornate chambers.
