A camp site on the fantastic north coast of the island of Sardinia, on a bay between the granite cliffs of Vignola Mare, in the Aglientu region. Baia Blu La Tortuga is located on the beach, accessible by three entrances from the site. The sea here is beautiful: crystal clear blue water and wonderfully clean! You will be in a dense pine forest in your tent or caravan, with wonderful shade. There are also 4 or 5 berth mobile homes vans for rent.

Not only are you in a spot that seems to have been made for a dream holiday, the camp site itself is to be recommended.
The amenities are good, the ambiance wonderful and the toilets are very clean, each shower having its own washbasin. You can learn to dive here, play tennis, football and beach volleyball. You can also rent inflatable boats and bikes. There is a playground and a miniclub for the children. The unique, clear sea is the biggest attraction but don't forget to visit the small harbour towns of northern Sardinia or the larger towns of Olbia and Sassari.

Local Area

The ancient Tempio Pausania in the mountainous region of Gallura is the historic capital of the region.
The unique structures that you only find in Sardinia are the Nuraghe, centuries old stones stacked in the shape of small towers. You can reach this part of Sardinia easily by ferry to Olbia (from Piombino near Elba in Tuscany, or from Genoa or Livorno. Once on the island you can take lovely boat trips or organised excursions to the large and small islands in the Mediterranean. The French island of Corsica is just 10 km to the north of Sardinia and can be reached from the ports of Bonifacio or Porto-Vecchio.

Static caravans are fully fitted and offer the most comfortable and luxurious way to camp. Everything is provided!
The interior is typically as follows: Living room with entrance and a dining/sitting area (which can usually be adapted into an additional double bed), Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with two single beds.
Bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet (sometimes a separate toilet). Fitted kitchen with a 2 to 4 ring gas hob and fridge. Plenty of storage space for personal possessions. Terrace and/or private garden with garden furniture.
