Camping Parc de Fierbois is a château campsite in the finest tradition, set amidst 250 acres of parkland, surrounding a lake with a sandy beach. The facilities and large emplacements of this ‘Castels et Camping’ site are truly impressive.
The waterpark is large with toboggans, waterchutes and a plunge pool and there is a separate covered (heated) pool. Wooded pathways around the lake are ideal for country walks, while bikes are available for hire if you want to explore further afield. You can hire pedaloes on the lake or try your hand at the mini-golf course. In the evening you can relax with a drink on the spacious bar terrace. During high season the site organise family entertainment including karaoke, discos and live music.

From the south,
exit the A10 at junction 25, direction Ste Maure-de-Touraine, and turn right onto the D760.
As you come into Ste Maure you arrive at a large crossroads with traffic lights.
Turn left onto the N10, direction Montbazon, Tours; this takes you up a steep hill and out of Ste Maure.
After 6kms there is a right turn onto the D101, direction St Catherine-de-Fierbois*, this brings you into the village.
Keep the large church on your left and go straight across the crossroads.
You will head down a tree-lined road for about 500 metres; at the end is a gatehouse for the château, bear right here and the campsite is another 500 metres on your left.
Large metal gates and a long driveway lead onto the site.
From the north, exit the A10 at junction 24.1 & take the D84 to Sorigny.
From here take the N10 towards St Catherine de Fierbois.
Follow for about 10km & then follow the D101 to St Catherine.

Local Area
Set in a prime position for exploring the Loire region, Parc de Fierbois is one mile from the village of St Catherine-de-Fierbois, dedicated to the memory of Joan of Arc. The tree-lined boulevards and old cobbled streets of Tours are 15 miles north of the campsite.
Aquarium Val de Loire (29mls) houses a variety of cold water and tropical fish. The highlight of a visit is walking ‘under the ocean’ in two glass tunnels and finding yourself face-to-face with the marine life. The Grottes Petrifiantes de Savonnieres (25mls) are located at the base of a frozen waterfall. Objects are left at the bottom of the slow drips to become frozen in lime.
