With so much to see and do in the area you will be a short drive to the South Devon and Cornwall beaches historic Plymouth with its Hoe Barbican National Marine Aquarium Theatre Royal Buckland Abbey Antony House used as the film set for Walt Disney's 'Alice in Wonderland' numerous National Trust properties and more. Nearby 'The Garden House' which is a favourite of Gardeners World presenter Carol Klein is just a 5 minute drive as is 'Wildside' garden. Rugged Dartmoor is on your doorstep and is a haven for walkers and nature lovers with golf and coarse fishing close by. In the village the owner offers drawing and sketching classes and free fresh eggs from their hens. You will be a few miles from Dartmoor which is one of the finest National Parks and Southern England's last great wilderness area. From pre-historic stone rows and hut circles to more recent remnants of mining and quarrying Dartmoor offers a rich historical tableau for the observant walker. Plymouth's superb natural harbour and Hoe is also a short drive away where you can enjoy a visit to Plymouth Dome and Smeaton's Tower. The walks along the coastal footpaths are exceptional and offer magnificent views where you can choose to walk cycle or ride on horseback. You will also be close to many attractions including Morwellham Quay Buckland Abbey and The Garden House as well as The National Marine Aquarium Lydford Gorge and much more. On site offers a unique holiday experience where there are many things to see and do. Leisure facilities: sole use of an indoor heated swimming pool (24' x 12' x 4' deep) young children's play area teenage playroom with pool table football air hockey and pub skittles. You will be welcome to fish on the pond with bream tench carp roach and rudd this should be done using barbless hooks no keep nets permitted. For the more serious fisherman there are excellent professional ponds within a few miles of the property. The accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: 2 doubles both with en-suite offering a bath separate shower and WC 1 twin room 1 room with 2 sets of adult sized bunk beds.
