This compact, recently restored semi-detached cottage is situated in the heart of the peaceful creekside village of St John – set in a conservation area which overlooks the sheltered waters of the Tamar Estuary. Despite being equipped and furnished in a clean, modern style, this lovely cottage has retained much of its period charm including its winding staircase. The cottage also boasts close proximity to the village pub, as well as its own garden and off road parking. Although this is a quiet corner of Cornwall, there is much to keep visitors occupied, including the beaches of Whitsand Bay and the walks along the cliff tops.
Across the estuary from Plymouth, the pretty village of St. John is situated in a wooded area amongst lush green fields. Close to both the water's edge and the city, visitors can enjoy the many benefits of both the sea and the cosmopolitan amenities. Popular with boat lovers, the region is also a haven for birds and other wildlife. St John's Lake boasts many breeds of wildfowl and numerous footpaths running around its edge.
