There are two pubs in the neighbouring villages of Hunworth and Letheringsett, which serve good food. Ivy Cottage is a lovely 300 year old cottage with bags of character. it enjoys wonderful views from the garden over the Glaven Valley and is situated in the grounds of the owner's house in the centre of Thornage.
