| This is one of 12 homes on the grounds of an 11th century Norman Castle half a mile from the picturesque village of Terryglass nested on the unspoilt shores of Lough Derg where the Shannon rests the mountains of Tipperary. There are finished to a high standard inside providing comfortable accommodation. At the centre of the village are two pubs which are the hub of the village, providing splendid cuisine and entertainment. This area is well renowned for its coarse fishing. Lake boats are available to hire for anglers or for just relaxing and letting the Shannon roll by. Terryglass is the ideal place for touring Ireland with counties Galway, Limerick, Offaly and Clare all close at hand. |
