| Waters Edge is a spectacular newly built garden apartment, located in the small coastal village of Strone. Set on the edge of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, this property has been finished to a very high standard with crisp modern facilities. This sea front location has an amazing view over the Holy Loch and the Firth of Clyde to Hunter's Quay and Gourock. The south facing aspect brings a bright and airy ambience. The lounge has a fantastic wall mounted feature electric fire, large comfortable sofas and French doors leading out onto a large deck. The kitchen is fully fitted and is well equipped with all you need during your holiday, with access again onto the deck. With two twin bedrooms, a main bathroom and en suite the facilities will appeal to friends, families and couples alike. Essential amenities are within a gentle stroll where there is a local village shop, post office and a hotel, with pub and restaurant. With direct open access down to the shoreline, canoes and kayaks can be launched to explore the coastline. This ground floor garden property is ideal for relaxing, enjoy the panorama, and perhaps catch a glimpse of the wildlife outside from swans to grey seals or even dolphins. Watch the ferries and yachts passing by in ever changing sea conditions. The quiet roads around this peninsula make them perfect for cycling. Strone is a great location to explore the surrounding area where there are sea lochs to explore, mountains to climb and an abundance of wildlife and history to delve into. The Argyll Forest is on the doorstep, which is part of the National Park and there are numerous forest tracks, marked walks and cycle ways to discover within this area. There are various activities available close by such as horse riding, sailing and quad biking. The Benmore Botanic Gardens are a must see with its avenue of Giant Redwoods and wonderful plants. Golfing is available locally and Dunoon has an 18 hole course. A short drive and ferry ride will take you to the Isle of Bute where the fabulous Victorian Gothic Mountstewart House makes a great day out. Dunoon provides a good shopping centre, leisure facilities and a cinema. From Dunoon there is a ferry to Gourock and then the bus south to Largs or west by train or bus to Greenock and Glasgow. Waters Edge is an excellent location to relax in or for the more adventurous, explore and find hidden treasures.Property is all on ground floor, is heated by gas under floor heating. |
