Salhouse is a lovely village with many pretty cottages and a 12th Century church. A short walk from the village will bring you to Salhouse Broad, one of the renowned Norfolk Broads. Within a few miles of the village is Ranworth Broad, The Broads Wildlife centre, Wroxham, the capital of the Broads, with the historic city of Norwich just six miles away. Boats and bikes can be hired locally to enable you to discover the delights of this area in depth. The village has a shop and two pubs which serve food.
The Old Post Room is the former village sorting office. It was tastefully converted a few years ago by the current owners and now provides spacious comfortable accommodation. It is well placed for all the village amenities and is an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful waterways and villages that make up The Broads, the sandy beaches of the East Coast or the cultural delights that Norwich has to offer.
