| The Gables is a detached stone farmhouse on the edge of the seaside village of Quilty in County Clare. With two double and two single bedrooms and a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep up to six people. The rest of the cottage is made up of a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with an open fire. Outside this cottage you will find off road parking for 4 cars and an enclosed lawned garden with countryside views and some sea views with outdoor furniture. Just five minutes' walk from the beach, and with all of County Clare to discover, The Gables is a fantastic family holiday cottage. |
| Quilty is a seaside resort with charm, providing a seafood restaurant, a pub, a supermarket, sea fishing and an indoor swimming pool. The nearby town of Miltown Malbay is located close to the Atlantic coast in County Clare, and is only an hour from Shannon Airport. Famed for its traditional Irish music, it is home to the Willie Clancy music festival, which is held in July, however visitors will find fabulous live music in many pubs and bars whatever the time of year. Miltown Malbay is close to some excellent beach resorts including Spanish Point and Doonbeg, both of which are well worth a visit for their relaxed vibe and great surf. The Burren National Park to the north of the town is a Mecca for walkers and nature lovers with its unique geological landscapes and rich colourful wildflowers, and to the south you will find the striking 'Cliffs of Moher', which rise majestically out of the ocean and are best appreciated from one of many boat excursions departing nearby. |
