| Primrose Cottage is a very spacious 3 bedroom detached houses, newly built by the owners in 2004 and are equipped with every modern day convenience. It is beautifully furnished throughout and enjoy views from most windows. Situated in the heart of Pooley Bridge which lies on the northern shores of Ullswater. The village has shops, pubs, a café a restaurant, all of which are on the doorstep. The Ullswater Steamers operate out of Pooley Bridge with regular sailings around the lake all year. The scenery in this area is spectacular with lots of walking opportunities around the lake and on the surrounding fells. Places of interests nearby include Rheged Visitor Centre, Dalemain House and Gardens, Aira Force and the Alpaca Centre. Daily passes can be bought for Center Parcs which is a 20 minute drive. The nearest town in Penrith, 10 minutes drive with the popular tourist town of Keswick just 20 minute drive. |

Henge Cottage is situated in a quiet corner of Eamont Bridge with uninterrupted views of Mayburgh Henge. A comfortable, modern, fully equipped two bedroom house it has the benefit of easy access to the M6 and close proximity to Ullswater, the Northern Fells and the Eden Valley. Outside there is an established South West facing enclosed garden, with a sandstone patio and dry stone walls overlooking open fields to Mayburgh Henge. Designated parking for one car plus space behind for a second vehicle.
There are two pubs in Eamont Bridge with further excellent gourmet pubs close by. Penrith, 1.5 miles away, has a full range of amenities including a leisure centre and swimming pool. There is a bus service to Pooley Bridge and Patterdale which connects with the Ullswater steamers offering easy access to the area without using a car. Brougham castle, Brougham Hall, Mayburgh Henge and Arthurs's Seat are all a pleasant stroll from Henge Cottage offering a unique insight into local history. Lowther Wildlife Park and Centre Parks holiday village at Whinfell offer alternative attractions to the visitor.
