There are several walks through ancient and coniferous woodland from the doorstep. The property is accessed off the main road by one mile of steep un-surfaced track not suitable for inexperienced or nervous drivers or cars with low clearance but 4-wheel drive is not necessary.While the property has a lovely 'away from it all' feeling of isolation, it is ideally placed for touring and is within an hour's drive of Edinburgh, St Andrews and Stirling.
