With St Merryn ideally positioned just 4 miles from Padstow and 11 miles from Newquay it comes as no surprise that along the coast and surrounding area there are a variety of scenic walks and cycle routes waiting to be discovered. The St Merryn village motto is aptly entitled Seven Bays for Seven Day and refers to the seven beaches within the parish Trevone Bay, Harlyn Bay, Mother Iveys Bay, Boobies Bay, Constantine Bay, Treyarnon Bay and Porthcothan Bay, all of which offer a different coastal experience.
