The village has everyday shopping and 2 pubs within walking distance of the cottage and the neighbouring village of Haworth is just 1 mile away with its cobbled high street lined with interesting shops, character inns and restaurants and is host to several events throughout the year including the 1940’s weekend, together with the Bronte Parsonage and Worth Valley Steam Railway. It is an ideal base for walkers with walks from the doorstep and the Pennine Way and the Bronte Way is close by. The whole of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, the market town of Skipton and the Spa town of Ilkley are a short drive away with the cities of Leeds, Bradford and York easily accessible by car, bus or train. |
