The National trust Powis Castle soaring dramatically above its glorious gardens and the Llanfair and Welshpool steam railway are a short drive. Medieval Shrewsbury birthplace of Darwin and the Ironbridge gorge museum are within easy reach. Golf fishing clay/game shooting and walking can be enjoyed locally. Nearest pub serving food 50 yards.
