| Malltraeth is an area famed for its birdlife, which isn’t surprising when you consider that the countryside surrounding this idyllic village is all part of a National Nature Reserve. Nearby you will find the ancient Newborough Forest, the Warren Sand Dunes and Malltraeth Pool, all of which add to the region’s beauty. Close to this abundance of nature are a number of stunning beaches. The stretch of coast at Llanddwyn is reputedly the fourth best in Britain, whilst the beaches at Aberffraw and Rhosneigr offer watersport activities throughout the year. The village itself is served by two pubs and a fish and chip shop, but the nearby city of Bangor has an abundance of restaurants and shops to suit all tastes. Malltraeth makes a picturesque base from which to explore the rest of Anglsey. |

| The Granary is a delightful stone-built terraced barn conversion near to Newborough on the Isle of Anglesey. The cottage has a kingsize double with ensuite facilities, a second kingsize double on the ground floor and a twin bedroom which with the addition of a family bathroom make this cottage suitable for six people. The rest of the accommodation is made up of an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting room with doors to the garden. Outside the cottage is off road parking for two cars, bike storage, an enclosed rear lawned garden with furniture with a BBQ and a front sitting area with views over Snowdonia. Being just two miles from the nearest beach and with all of Anglesey and North Wales to discover, The Granary is a wonderful holiday cottage all year round. |
| The village of Newborough lies on the edge of forests and dunes at the south west corner of Anglesey. Close by is Llanddwyn Bay, renowned as one of the finest beaches in Britain, ideal for swimming, canoeing, beachcombing and birdwatching. Behind the beach, the 1500 acre sand dune system of Newborough Warren is home to skylarks, meadow pipits and oyster catchers as well as toads and lizards and is protected as a National Nature Reserve. The famous Anglesey Model Village, set in one acre of beautifully landscaped gardens, is within half a mile of the village centre and makes a fun day out for the whole family. |

The beach is 2 miles away, with its protected Nature Reserve and miles of sandy dunes, and the rest of Anglesey is waiting to be discovered. |

Newborough has a shop and a pub, and is close to Llanddwyn Bay, with its famously fine beach. There is a protected Nature Reserve to the back of the beach, home to a whole host of wildlife. The rest of Anglesey’s attractions, including the Sea Zoo, model village and more, are within easy reach, as are the mountains of Snowdonia and the coast and castles of the Lleyn Peninsula. |
