Mousehole was also believed to have been the home of the last person to speak only Cornish and her house is marked with a plaque. Perfect for a stroll to a host of pubs and restaurants or use the property as a base for touring Cornwall with beaches and sheltered coves some fantastic walking as well as attractions which include Land's End Flambards Theme Park numerous National Trust properties and Gardens to name but a few. The accommodation is arranged over three floors and offers ONE bedroom: double with en-suite shower room WC and lovely views over the roof tops to the sea beyond. Separate WC off the lounge. Lounge: with TV DVD and hi-fi. Kitchen/diner: with cooker fridge with ice box washer/dryer microwave and many useful extras. Close by is the famous St Michael's Mount which stands proudly in the centre of Mounts Bay. The fantastic coastline offers great walking opportunities amongst seabirds, seals and wild headlands, making this a wonderful place for wildlife enthusiasts, whilst those interested in the Arthurian myths and legends will enjoy a trip to the countryside at nearby Lands End which is steeped in local folk lore. The Minnack cliff-top theatre is a just few miles along the coast, whilst reminders of the region's ancient past in the form of Dolmens and standing stones appear everywhere, making this a truly magical destination. |
