| Lakeside Cottage certainly lives up to its name as it is a beautiful 17th century stone built barn conversion which stands in a wonderful lakeside location beside the owner's historic home in the Shropshire village of Rosehill near to Market Drayton. With two double bedrooms and one single, this cottage can sleep five people in comfort and also has the benefit of a family bathroom and a downstairs cloakroom. The rest of the accommodation is made up of a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a log effect electric stove and a large picture window with lake views. Outside the cottage is off road parking for 2 cars whilst carp fishing is available in the owner's 6 acre lake at extra cost by arrangement with the owner. Ideal for fisherman, yet perfectly located for exploring the Shropshire countryside, Lakeside Cottage really does have something for everyone. |
| Rosehill is a small North Shropshire village 3 miles from the town of Market Drayton, and stands beside both the River Tern and the Shropshire Union Canal. Market Drayton is renowned for hosting one of the liveliest weekly markets you will find, and the town centre boasts many lovely 16th and 17th century half-timbered buildings including a variety of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms. Close by is Ellesmere, with its beautiful meres (lakes), a variety of National Trust mansions and gardens including Attingham, Hodnant Hall, Hawkstone Park and the lovely medieval towns of Shrewsbury and Ludlow. |
