An Teach Fada is a 200 year old detached cottage located in the hamlet of West Town, two miles from Malin Head, in County Donegal. With one double bedroom and a family room as well as a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep five people. The rest of the accommodation contains a spacious kitchen with a dining table and an open fire and a sitting room, also with an open fire. Outside the cottage is a front garden with outdoor furniture and off road parking for two cars. Situated on the most northerly point of Ireland, An Teach Fada is a lovely cottage in a remote location.
Malin Head is located on the Inishowen Peninsula, and the most northerly point in Ireland. It is home to some of Donegal's rugged coastline and sandy beaches, which together, provide ample fishing opportunities and a haven for birdwatchers and artists alike. Only a short drive away lies Inishowen; with 5 golf courses set amongst stunning scenery. A day trip for all the family to enjoy is the traditional walled city of Derry; discover a part of Ireland's history and heritage in St. Columb's Cathedral, tour the walls and enjoy the Tower Museum.
