Birchfield dates back to the mid 17th century and is a fine example of a traditional Lakeland farmhouse in an ideal location between both the Lake District and Yorkshire National Parks, only 5 minutes drive off junctions 36 and 37 of the M6. Being such a special property in a location handy for all road networks, we feel Birchfield Farmhouse would be the ideal venue for spending precious holiday time together as family or friends but equally, the sheer romance of the property makes it also the perfect love nest for couples, either for an anniversary or honeymoon.
Birchfield Farmhouse is beautifully presented, the original features of flagged floors and beamed ceilings complimented by perfectly chosen furnishings, decor accessories. Each room has been lavishly decorated and dressed in keeping with the farmhouse theme whether it be by way of hops to the beams or carefully placed pictures and trinkets sourced from the owners travels. The farmhouse has a most social atmosphere - the breakfast benches in the kitchen offering the chance for the chefs to be included in reviewing the days events, the snug room certain to be well utilised if only for the bar and the sunny conservatory, filled with comfy seating an ideal space for an aperitif before dinner.
