This 18th Century, traditional character cottage, newly refurbished in 2010, is perfect for 2 or 3 families or groups of walkers on holiday together. It has 5 bedrooms, 2 sitting rooms and 4 bathrooms. Red Squirrels and a vast array of bird life visit the beautiful garden. There is something for everyone in the area, cycling, rock climbing, fishing, low level walking round the lake or more energetic fell walking. The award winning Kirkstile Inn is within 10 minutes walking distance and is renowned for excellent home cooked food and its own brewery. Crummock Water and Buttermere are both nearby and the extensive Cumbrian coast is only a 20 minute drive away. |
