| The Shippon is located just 1 mile from Polyphant and was originally a stone-built barn. It has been lovingly converted to offer spacious accommodation for a party of up to 4 people. It sports both modern and traditional-style decoration, such as a contemporary kitchen floored in slate. Outdoors, there is a substantial garden with its own carp pond and ample facilities for outdoor dining and summer barbeques. Cornwall is a very temperate region of the UK and the beaches are very popular for surfing and other water-sports. The beaches of the north coast are just 14 miles away and also bring you into close proximity to attractions such as the world-famous Eden Project and the Victorian discovery, the Lost Gardens of Heligan. A few miles west of Polyphant, you can take in the rugged beauty of Bodmin Moor with its granite tors, walking opportunities and secluded moor-land villages. The Camel Route, a famous cycling and walking trail is just minutes from here. |
