A luxurious stay awaits you in this cosy cottage that has features such as exposed beams and vaulted ceilings original wooden lintels hand-made latched doors and a lovely pine kitchen built by local carpenters. Mowey Cottage offers a real treat for couples wanting to get away from it all with the South West coastal path being around 2 miles away you can enjoy the breathtaking clifftop walks and visit some of the most endearing beaches of the county. The village of St Buryan is approximately a mile away and has a shop and pub. The Minack open-air theatre is also close by as well as Land's End and many National Trust properties. While away the days visiting quaint fishing villages such as Mousehole and Newlyn and further afield Penzance offers many shops pubs and restaurants. The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: double with oak flooring. Shower room: spacious with WC and heated towel rail. Lounge/kitchen/diner: cosy with tiled flooring comfortable sofa TV DVD hi-fi and granite fireplace with woodburner. The hand-built pine kitchen has granite worktops oil-fired Rayburn microwave fridge freezer dishwasher and washing machine. Outside: patio doors lead out to a private and pretty enclosed patio with lawn area seating and BBQ. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen electric and central heating are included. From October-April there is an extra heating charge of £20 payable to the owner on arrival. Towels are available for hire arranged and payable direct to owner. Regret no pets children or smoking in the property. Location: pub and shop at St Buryan approximately 1 mile and beach at Lamorna approximately 2 miles. 1 OF 2 BARN CONVERSIONS 4 ACRES OF RURAL FARMLAND WITH HORSES CATS AND A DOG These two lovely cottages are situated at the end of a private lane with no near neighbours and offer comfortable and well-equipped accommodation. They have been lovingly renovated and include many original and interesting features. Situated in an area of major historical interest with Carn Euny an ancient monument being within walking distance. In fact the public footpath to the site is adjacent to the farmland. Carn Euny shows the remains of a 2000 year old iron age settlement. There are also many other ancient wonders nearby such as standing stones and stone circles and fogou (a Cornish cave). Beaches on the North or South coasts are only 5 miles away including Sennen Cove Gwenver and Marazion to name but a few (good surfing at Sennen and Gwenver). The fishing harbour at Newlyn is also worth a visit as is the open-air theatre at Porthcurno. Lands End itself is within easy reach as is the larger town of Penzance with its many shops pubs and restaurants as well as the huge number of family theme parks and attractions. The Fountain Inn at Newbridge is a short drive (approximately 3 miles) along quiet lanes and serves good food. There are BHS approved riding stables and pony trekking nearby. Guests are welcome to store bikes and surf boards in the garage next to the house. Both properties offer views over open countryside. Outside: children and dogs are usually welcome to play in the adjacent large field but please check with owner first. There is also an area of semi-wild woodland which older children can explore but this is not suitable for toddlers and has an unfenced pond. Amenities: ample off-road parking.
