Decorated to a high standard, this charming property is in an ideal location to explore the village (featured in Monarch of the Glen), and take advantage of the walking in the area. The cottage is 150 metres from a link into the Wildcat Trail - a 7km orbital walk and path network. The other attractions of the Cairngorms National Park are also within easy reach - an excellent base at any time of year!

Glendarroch is a bright and welcoming detached cottage, located close to the golf course above the attractive Badenoch and Strathspey town of Kingussie in the Cairngorms National Park. The cottage boasts two bedrooms and a family shower room as well as a large fitted kitchen with it's own dining area. Outside the cottage is a large garden with furniture and off road parking for 2 cars. Glendarroch Cottage is perfectly located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park and is a fine location for a holiday whatever the weather.
Situated in the glorious Cairngorms National Park, Kingussie attracts visitors all year round. The town has a fine selection of hotels and restaurants, as well as being home to one of Scotland's finest folk museums with its collection of buildings and artefacts combining to give a fascinating insight into Highland life. During the summer months demonstrations of traditional crafts take place most days in the 'streets' of the village-like grounds. Just 15 miles south of Aviemore it is also a popular winter destination for skiers along with the Lecht, with skiing and snowboarding for all abilities.

This property is unusual in that it is a wooden house 3 miles from Kingussie and on the outskirts of the village of Newtonmore. The property is made up of 2 double bedrooms, 2 single bedrooms, bathroom, utility room for muddy boots, a fully fitted kitchen and dining room and a big living room. There is also a gravel garden to the side of the property, which is a lovely spot to sit out and watch the villagers go by. The house also has terrific views of the rural landscape. The whole house is decorated in a modern style, most of the rooms are painted white and there are plenty of sofas and armchairs to curl up in come evening time.
Newtonmore is a relatively large village situated on the banks of the River Spey bang smack in the middle of the United Kingdom's largest National Park, the Cairngorms National Park. There lots of both old and new shops in the village to browse in and a good helping of country pubs dotted around too. Walkers will be happy to note that there is a wonderful 7-mile circular walking route called the Wildcat Trail, which runs around the village and takes in popular spots like the River Spey. Don't be surprised if you think you're having deja vu as you explore the village – it was used as the location for filming the hit BBC TV show 'Monarch of the Glen!
