There is an additional sun room and a small lawned garden at the front of the cottage making this a delightful home from home from which to explore the lakes, mountains and coast of this gloriously unspoilt part of Ireland. |
| The small town of Kiltimagh is a true Irish gem located in the eastern part of County Mayo. The town is a great base for the outdoor type with walks to suit all abilities, pony trekking facilities, a range of golf courses and fishing in the surrounding rivers. Further afield is the world famous pilgrimage site of Knock Shrine while the town of Claremorris has a range of shops and leisure facilities to suit the whole family. |

| Kiltamagh is a market town 9 miles from Knock Airport, and this cosy cottage only 3 miles from the town is in a fabulous rural setting. Being out in the countryside it is a great get-away-from-it-all destination with walking, fishing and cycling all available locally. Further afield venture to Castlebar, Westport and on into Connemara or to the coast of North Mayo - Downpatrick Head, the Ceide fields and the North Mayo sculpture trail. The hills and boglands of Mayo are rugged and generally unspoilt, with large Lough Conn lake and River Moy offering excellent fishing. The towns of Castlebar and Westport have great shopping and leisure facilities, while a day trip to Galway City is also recommended. |
