Situated only 10 minute walk from the sandy beach at Instow the Stables at Worlington is an ideal holiday location. The golden sands at Westward Ho! are popular with beach lovers and offer excellent opportunities for surfing and body boarding. Wander along the promenade and enjoy a locally made Hockings ice cream sit amongst the sand dunes and watch the sailing boats bobbing up and down or have a go at a variety of water sports which can be organised on the beach. Across the estuary is the small fishing village of Appledore which has a history of seafarers and ship building and is worth a trip across the water.
