Situated in the popular Argyllshire village of Arrochar is this traditional, stone built property that has been tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. There are plenty of walking opportunities in the near vicinity and the property is well placed for the local amenities of the village and other nearby towns.
Situated at the head of Loch Long – the most northerly point in the network of lochs that extend from the Clyde Estuary – is the village of Arrochar. This region is very popular amongst climbers, due to its proximity to Ben Arthur, often referred to as the Cobbler, and various other peaks. Also in the area is the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The village itself offers an unusually large selection of shops, restaurants and pubs and is just a mile and a half away from another Loch Lomondside village - Tarbert. The impressive expanse of water of Loch Lomond provides a variety of interesting and exciting activities such as a gentle stroll through the Balloch Castle Country Park and the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. There are numerous other walking and climbing opportunities throughout the region.

The Coachouse is a beautifully appointed 4 star detached property situated in the popular coastal town of Helensburgh. The property dates back to 1860 when it was originally a coach house and is located on the street named after Helensburgh's first Provost Henry Bell back in the 19th Century. The interior has been stylishly co-ordinated with cosy lounge and well equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a fantastic roll top bath with shower. Upstairs the bedrooms are light and airy with the original beams on the coombed ceiling. Each bedroom has its own TV with freeview. The private enclosed garden is accessed from the kitchen back door, passing through a shared lane. The town centre is only a five minute stroll and the sea front is only 100 metres away providing lovely views of the Clyde estuary. Helensburgh lies on the banks of the Firth of Clyde and provides all the essential amenities with a great selection of shops, eateries and leisure facilities. There is also a railway link to Glasgow in the south, or north to Oban/Fort William. Helensburgh is home to The Hill House designed by Charles Rennie MacKintosh, a must to visit for all architectural lovers and the town is also the birthplace of John Logie Baird (the inventor of the television). This property makes a great location to explore the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park four miles away. From Helensburgh there is a cycle-way running all the way to Loch Lomond. There are numerous marked pathways within the surrounding area and coastline. The National Park has fantastic mountains to climb from Munro's to Corbett's Ben Lomond, Ben Venue and Ben Ledi to the east or north to the Arrochar Alps and Ben Arthur (better known as The Cobbler). Crosskeys Cottage is a traditional Scottish detached cottage situated on the west side of Loch Lomond, only 2 miles from the Loch itself. This renovated cottage has wonderful thick stone walls which are testament to its long history. Tasteful fixtures and decoration give the cottage a fresh and modern ambience. The Cottage has its own grassy garden area, with outdoor seating, BBQ and a view south towards the Kilpatrick Hills. The property is ideal for a couple and with its fantastic central position; Crosskeys Cottage makes a great location to explore the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. There is a cycle way running past the cottage which can take you to Loch Lomond or Helensburgh, both only 2 miles away. From Crosskeys you can explore Glen Fruin quieter back roads. There are numerous forestry marked pathways within the surrounding forest and you may hear and see the wild peacocks. The National Park has fantastic mountains to climb from Munro's to Corbett's - Ben Lomond, Ben Venue and Ben Ledi to the east or north to the Arrochar Alps and Ben Arthur (better known as "The Cobbler"). There is also an abundance of wildlife with Osprey, red squirrel, deer and pine martens, so don't forget your binoculars! There are numerous golf courses in the area and on Loch Lomond side. The small picture postcard village of Luss sits on the banks of Loch Lomond is well worth a visit. Helensburgh lies to the west, on the banks of the Firth of Clyde and provides all the essential amenities and leisure facilities, with a great railway link to Glasgow in the south, or north to Oban and Fort William.
