Guests are welcome to roam the 500 acre farm and observe various farming activities going on throughout much of the year including calves to feed lambing from January to May harvesting in August and September. Also on site meet the resident ponies and donkey feed the chickens feed the ducks at the feeding station by their wildlife pond and enjoy the butterfly garden and seating area. If you can tear yourself away from the activities and beautiful location at the farm the wide sandy beaches and amenities around Bude or Bideford are within a comfortable drive and are perfect for those that enjoy sunbathing or surfing. Garden lovers will be interested to know that the award-winning Docton Mill gardens are adjacent to the property and in season are well worth a visit as well as for the mouth-watering cream teas. Wooda's own grounds offer a wealth of interest and excitement for all ages and include bluebell woods with tracks pathways and bridges. Both adults and children alike enjoy the large log seating area around a campfire gazing at the stars and enjoying a sausage on a stick. The grounds lead down to an unfenced stream (children beware) where wild brown trout can be caught. There is also a mill pond 200 yards from the house that fills in rainy weather and is also unfenced.
