| This idyllic Grade II listed thatched cottage nestling in the lovely sleepy hamlet of Harracott is the perfect rural retreat, surrounded by unspoilt countryside yet within easy reach of a fabulous choice of North Devon beaches. Believed to be dated from the 17th century, many character features remain, including flagstone floors, oak beams and latch doors. The spacious accommodation includes a stylish living room with impressive fireplace housing a wood burning stove, maKing sized bed the cottage cosy all year round and a separate dining room comfortably seating six. The attractive kitchen has been totally refurbished and a useful shower room leads off. As the rooms flow naturally between one to another, a small study area leads through to a second sitting room, an ideal children's space with additional Television, or a perhaps a second sitting room for groups of friends or couples holidaying together. From here a few steps up lead up to a lovely Double bed bedroom with four poster bed. On the first floor are two further pretty bedrooms with stunning countryside views, the master bedroom having an ensuite bathroom with luxury Jacuzzi bath. There is ample parKing sized bed to the rear of the cottage and a detached garage houses a selection of games including table tennis and table football. The large rear lawn is a wonderful space, not often found with this type of village property, being totally private and bordered by the surrounding fields and countryside. Children can enjoy the trampoline, have lots of space to run and play and it is perfect for leisurely barbecues or al fresco meals.
