This rural idyllic hamlet has walks directly from the door, by the River Skirfare to the villages of Litton and Arncliffe, each with a cosy country pub serving good food. The Pennine Way crosses Pen-y-Ghent near the head of the dale and the winding road over the fell to the market town of Settle has truly breathtaking views to enjoy. Grassington and Kettlewell a short drive away in Wharfedale have shops, pubs, tea rooms and restaurants. Everyday shopping can also be found in Skipton beside the Medieval Castle and amongst the cobbled streets. |

Angram Farmhouse is full of charm and character with oak beams, mullion windows and interesting little niches, with a lovely open fire and countryside views together with a lovely cottage garden and patio. It is a truly beautiful rural haven with stunning countryside, visitors can enjoy some of Yorkshires finest scenery in Littondale and Wharfedale with country walks from the doorstep, cycle the winding country lanes it is paradise for lovers of the outdoors with the Three Peaks close by. After a day touring the dales relax or dine alfresco in the pretty cottage garden on a warm summer evening where the beck runs alongside the walled garden it is a haven of peace and tranquillity. Along the valley the villages of Litton and Arncliffe each have a country inn serving good food, whilst Kettlewell, Kilnsey, Malham and Grassington offer a good choice of inns, farm shops and places to eat, with the market towns of Settle, Skipton and Hawes just a short drive away. |
