There are country walks from the doorstep, a swimming pool just a 5 minute walk away and two pubs serving meals within walking distance. The Three Peaks – Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent are within easy reach and there are shops, restaurants and tea shops in Settle just a mile away. One of the most scenic rail journeys in the country, 'Settle to Carlisle', can be taken from Settle Station, passing over the famous Ribblehead Viaduct, through the Dales and the Eden Valley. |

This warm and welcoming cottage is close to all the village amenities - one of the village pubs is across the yard and the cottage overlooks the 15th Century Church. Relax and unwind in the cottage or visit the bustling market town of Settle a 10 minute walk away. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is within an easy drive, the scenery is spectacular with Giggleswick Scar nearby and the Three Peaks of Ingleborough, Pen-y-ghent and Whernside to the north. In the village there are two pubs serving food, whilst Settle has everyday shopping, a supermarket, pubs and tearooms amongst its cobbled streets. From Settle, runs the historic Settle to Carlisle Railway line, there is a swimming pool close by, golf and horse riding are also available locally plus a birds of prey and falconry centre. |

Woodlands was built in 1905 as a gentleman's country residence. It sits at the end of a quiet road ten minutes walk from picturesque Giggleswick village.
Woodlands is a large house, comfortably sleeping 18 guests in 9 bedrooms, all beautifully restored and furnished in simple early twentieth century style. Whilst the house has been elegantly refurbished and furnished, there are of course ample of discreet modern comforts, gas heating and cooking, Wi-fi, free view TV and Blue Ray.
There is a discreet occupied self contained apartment at the rear of the house which has a separate access. |
