Other facilities nearby include the championship golf course at the Woodbury Park Hotel Golf and Country Club riding fishing and more.The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: with zip and link bed made up as a twin or double on request. Within walking distance of the esplanade and golden sandy beaches, Lacemakers offers guest a 3 bedroom stone cottage, sleeping 5. Furnished with all the home comforts you would expect, guests are encouraged to make use of the private rear garden, ideal for a little tranquillity.
Along the coast, two miles of beach and sand dunes provide the perfect opportunity to unwind and relax, providing extensive views along the dramatic coastline. For those in search of some retail therapy, the town is home to an array of independent traders along with an indoor market. Fresh local produce is also in abundance, with locally caught fish the highlight of any culinary experience here.
For those of an active nature then there is a cycle path alongside the estuary, leading to the picturesque village of Lympstone, and beyond. Being beside the sea, watersports provide a popular activity with Exmouth considered one of the top locations in the country for both kite and windsurfing.
The seaside resort of Exmouth is characterised by its eclectic mix of architecture, primarily ranging from the Victorian period. Particular places worthy of noting are the small cob cottages and the 18th century, 16-sided house 'A la Ronde', owned by the National Trust.
Whilst in the area why not take in a little culture at the Blackmoor Theatre, an intimate 99 seater auditorium within a 5 minute walk of Lacemakers.

From Exmouth explore the magnificent coastline and secluded beaches by taking advantage of the array of aqautic modes of transport on offer. Ride the water taxi across to Dawlish Warrens nature reserve, take the ferry over the estuary to Starcross, participate in a spot of bird watching or simply just relax in tranquility. For those with a real adventure of the seas a longer voyage around to Torquay and Brixham on the English Riviera is also possible, taking in the glorious coastline South Devon coastline.

| 220 ACRE FARM CENTRAL LOCATION FOR TOURING THE WEST COUNTRYAttached to the main farmhouse is a cosy cottage located on a 220 acre working organic farm in a secluded setting approached via a long private drive. A warm welcome is extended to visitors including a guided tour of the farm to meet the animals including rare breed cattle horses and lambs when the season is right. You may be lucky and see Exmoor ponies buzzards and Muntjac deer amongst the wealth of wildlife on your doorstep. Walk from your front door through the peaceful farmland leading to stunning scenery at Killerton House and the Ashclyst Forest. The pretty village of Broadclyst with its thatched cottages and traditional village pub is a 10 minute walk across the farm and Clyst River. Its central location makes an ideal base to explore the West Country with attractions to suit all tastes. There are many National Trust properties and gardens as well as comfortable access to Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks with their picturesque villages. You will be ideally suited for outings to the English Riviera and the lovely resort of Exmouth just 12.5 miles away. The historical cathedral city of Exeter is 6.5 miles away with its new shopping centre theatres cinemas pubs and restaurants. For the younger guests there is Crealy Adventure Park Digger Land and Bicton Park to name but a few.The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. The historic regional centre of Exeter is a short drive and offers cinemas shops pubs restaurants and theatre. Other facilities close by include the championship golf course at the Woodbury Park Hotel Golf and Country Club riding fishing and more. The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: upstairs twin with en-suite shower room accessed via steep stairs. Lounge/kitchen/diner: an open plan area situated downstairs with Freeview TV and DVD.
