The rest of the accommodation is made up of a fitted kitchen, a sitting room with an open fire and a dining area for eight people. Outside the cottage is a lawned area with a patio and garden furniture as well as off road parking for six cars. Famed for its traditional Irish music, it is home to the Willie Clancy music festival, which is held in July, however visitors will find fabulous live music in many pubs and bars whatever the time of year. Miltown Malbay is close to some excellent beach resorts including Spanish Point and Doonbeg, both of which are well worth a visit for their relaxed vibe and great surf, not to mention their excellent golf courses. The Burren National Park to the north of the town is a mecca for walkers and nature lovers with its unique geological landscapes and rich colourful wildflowers.
