Meadowlands Cottage is a single storey cottage in the quaint seaside village of Tully on the west coast of County Galway. Able to sleep six people in three bedrooms (one twin and two doubles - one with an ensuite), the cottage also has a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a fitted kitchen with a preparation island and an oil fired range cooker, a dining area, utility room and a sitting room with seating for four people and an open fire. To the outside of the cottage is a lawned garden to the front and rear with furniture and a barbecue as well as off road parking for four cars. Being so close to the coast, Meadowlands Cottage has wonderful sea views and is an ideal holiday home for exploring the west of Ireland.
The village of Tully sits on the picturesque Renvyle Peninsula, County Galway. It lies on the Atlantic coast, and fishermen still land the daily catch on the small pier by the beach. The village has two bars with restaurants, a post office, two supermarkets and a horse-riding centre, as well as Teach Ceoil, a music house which holds traditional evenings of music each Tuesday evening during July and August. Across the bay are the mountains of Mweelrea and Croagh Patrick, and within easy reach are Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey, and Inishboffin Island, not to mention numerous walking and cycling routes, sea cruises, angling excursions and much more.

The small village of Carna lies on the shores of Galway Bay, overlooking Galway Harbour, in the scenic region of Connemara. Lying off the coast of Carna is St. MacDara's Church and Island, a notable holy place in west Ireland, and a site of pilgrimage and mass in July. The sailing crafts, the 'Galway Hookers' were made in Carna, as well as a small boat called the Currach, and the area is well known for the skilled boat makers who crafted them. There are still some working examples of the Galway Hooker in Kinvara's quaint harbour.
