This cottage is a lovely semi detached property in the hamlet of Bellochantuy about 10 miles from Campbeltown. It is furnished and decorated throughout to a high standard, with a spacious sitting room, dining area and wood burner. There are two light and comfortable double bedrooms and the bathroom has a bath and separate shower. To complete the accommodation there is a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar. Outside there is a large front patio with furniture and a short walk will take visitors to the beach where, if they are lucky, they may be able to spot dolphins and seals. There is a shop three miles away and a pub only a five minute walk from the cottage. This is a great spot for a family holiday.
Campeltown Argyll is the Kintyre Peninsula's main town and is set in a deep bay, sheltered by Davaar Island, which can be accessed by foot at low tide by a mile-long walk along a causeway. At its height, the town had an expansive fishing fleet and, supposedly, 34 whisky distilleries. There are now two single malts produced in the town, one from Glen Scotia and the other is Springbank. The Campbeltown Heritage Centre is housed in an old church, known as the Tartan Kirk and it is very notable building. The museum lends an interesting insight into the towns history. The 'Wee Picture House' is the country's oldest working cinema and an Art Deco treasure! A few miles to the South is The Mull of Kintyre from where you can see the hills of County Antrim, Northern Ireland only 12 miles away.

This property is thought to be one of the oldest in Bellochantuy, and was formerly an inn. There are tales that it has a secret passage from the underground cellar to the shore nearby, but so far this has eluded locals and visitors alike. This is a spacious property and has been thoughtfully furnished to provide comfortable accommodation. It is set over three floors and there are four bedrooms, three doubles, one with en-suite and a twin room also with en-suite which also has two pull out single beds. There is a wood burner in the sitting room and a games area with a pool table and dart board. The fitted kitchen has a dining area, and a shower room completes the accommodation. Outside there is a large patio to the front and parking for several cars. This is a very versatile property, full of character and is a perfect place for a large family gathering.
