Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the northern edge of the lovely Clwydian Hill Range, this lovely 18th Century stone-built semi-detached cottage is under two miles from Caerwys - one of Britain's smallest towns. This welcoming cottage comes with two attractive fireplaces and seamlessly blends traditional charm with modern comfort. Other accommodation includes a stylish fitted kitchen, separate dining room and a cosy living room. Well placed for all local amenities and activities, this lovely little cottage makes a great base for anyone looking to explore Wales.
As one of the smallest towns in Great Britain, Caerwys was granted a Royal Charter in 1290 and is situated in what has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Positioned between the northern edge of the Clwydian Hill Range and the miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales Coast, this vibrant little settlement boasts two pubs – both of which serve good meals – a café delicatessen, a shop, a post office, a butcher, a bowling green and a tennis court. For interesting day trips, visitors can enjoy a day out in nearby Mold, Denbigh and Ruthin – all of which provide excellent shops and craft centres. The nearby beach at Prestatyn has been awarded a Blue Flag and offers miles of golden sand, ideal for bathing, water sports and fishing.

Set on the owners' working farm they are certain to appeal to walking enthusiasts and golfers alike – lovely country walks can be enjoyed from the doorstep and in the nearby Clwydian Hills and there are no fewer than 16 golf courses within a ten mile radius! And history lovers and keen shoppers will surely head to the city of Chester just 20 minutes' drive away. With its fascinating Roman remains famous black and white shopping rows host of cultural pleasures excellent restaurants and world renowned zoo Chester offers a marvellous day (or two) out.

For quieter moments there's a glorious coastline nearby whose river estuaries are a birdwatchers' delight whilst miles of lovely beaches and a whole host of entertainments are a short drive. Whatever the weather there's ample of family fun at the seaside resort of Rhyl where the young at heart can enjoy the excitement of two lively funfairs (8 miles). The beautiful countryside is dotted with historic small towns like Flint with its medieval castle overlooking the Dee estuary and Mold whose lively street market is famous for fresh local produce whilst Holywell is home to one of the seven Wonders of Wales the ancient pilgrimage site of St Winefride's Well.
