A separate modern bathroom serves both rooms. The owners encourage guests to explore and enjoy all of the lovely gardens which include a pretty courtyard area, formal garden, pond and wild-flower meadow edged lawns with picnic table. This is ideal for either al fresco meals or just relaxing in the sunshine, and especially watching the setting sun. If you can tear yourself away from this idyllic retreat, the picturesque Twin beds towns of Lynton and Lynmouth are just a short drive away, and for beach lovers the wonderful resorts of Woolacombe and Croyde are within easy reach. Whatever the time of year, Honeysuckle Cottage provides a warm welcome and is a fabulous choice for both couples and families. The 3 bedroom bungalow, sleeping 7, combines all the home comforts needed with an element of showcasing the natural elements lying within stones throw of the property. Lounge views over the countryside, an open brick fireplace, piano and personal guide books to the area all contribute to the rural ambiance of the property. The games room, complete with Nintendo Wii and Playstation 3 with a range of games, ensures the children are entertained.
Externally the enclosed lawn garden area provides the perfect opportunity to relax or indulge with a little al-fresco dining courtesy of the BBQ provided. Upon arrival guests are welcomed with supplies of milk and bread along with a bottle of wine and Devonshire cream tea to enjoy.
With the location of the property there is ample opportunity to get out and about either by foot or bike. Explore rugged and wild Exmoor with its winding rural lanes and picturesque villages. Alternatively head north to the coast and the beaches of Saunton and Croyde, only 15 miles away. Relax on long sandy beaches or for those of an active nature take on a spot of surfing. The owners have also provided umbrellas, walking sticks and local books to encourage guests to get out and about exploring the beautiful surrounding area.
