In the evening you can sit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity with a glass of wine and relax on the BBQ area or alternatively take a stroll to the village pub serving good food. The accommodation offers ONE Bedroom: double with zip-and-link bed which is made as double but can be a twin on request with TV and accessed via open-tread stairs. Shower room: with WC. Lounge/diner: lovely room with electric fire TV and DVD. Kitchen: with cooker fridge and microwave (washing facilities by arrangement). The cottage has been restored using only traditional materials therefore enhancing the property's character with wooden floors throughout and lots of homely touches. The friendly owners live opposite but offer visitors freedom to enjoy their stay without intrusion. Peaceful and relaxing the cosy cottage is ideal for couples and is set in a rural position in the lane of a working farm offering lots of lovely walks direct from the property. Plenty to see and do in the area and within walking distance of the Tamar Lakes which offer a variety of water sports and fishing as well as excellent walking. The small sandy coves of Sandymouth and Duckpool and the larger beaches at Bude are approximately a 20 minute drive. The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are ideal for a day's adventure. Other attractions in the area are RHS Rosemoor Gardens at Torrington Appledore a small fishing village on the Taw and Torridge estuary is worth visiting from here you will be a short drive to the village of Instow where you can sit and relax in the sand dunes or hire bikes and cycle along the Tarka Trail.The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: accessed via an oak open-tread staircase with king-size bed (which can be a twin on request) with en-suite there is a shower installed over the bath and WC.
