Set in 6 acres of the owner’s private grounds it has been beautifully converted retaining a wealth of traditional features including mullion windows, beamed ceilings and oak floors together with central heating and a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. Very well equipped and tastefully furnished in modern country style to the highest standard, it is an enchanting retreat from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales. The area is steeped in history and rich in heritage with numerous abbeys and National Trust properties in the immediate area, a 5 minute drive takes you to Brimham Rocks with its curious rock formations. The cathedral City of Ripon and the spa town of Harrogate are only a 15 minute drive away and the city of York, the North York Moors and the East Coast are within easy driving distance. |
