| 9 Whitewater Estuary is a modern, semi detached cottage in a residential area on the edge of the village of Ballyhack, County Wexford near to the River Barrow. With four bedrooms made up of one single, one double, one with adult bunk beds and one family room (with ensuite facilities) this cottage can sleep up to eight people. The cottage also has a family bathroom, a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with an open fire. To the exterior of the cottage is off road parking for 2 cars and an enclosed rear lawned garden with furniture & a BBQ. Just a short walk up the hill from the village, 9 Whitewater Estuary is a lovely holiday cottage suitable for large families or a group of friends. |
| Ballyhack is a fishing village on the edge of the River Barrow, dotted with traditional fishermen's cottages, offering the visitor an insight into true Irish heritage. The village has a pub and shop, and is dominated by its 15th Century Castle. The area is an angler's delight with river and sea fishing available, and for the walker it is the starting point of the 48 mile Wexford Coastal Path walk, giving you the chance to fully appreciate the area's stunning and rugged coastline. For a great day out, why not take the Passage East ferry from the village and visit Waterford City and the crystal workshop, New Ross with the famous Dunbrody Famine Ship and the JFK Trust, or Rosslare, the cliff top village The Hook Peninsula is close by, home to the oldest lighthouse in Europe, and with so many outdoor pursuits this area has to offer, Ballyhack has something to keep everyone occupied. |
