| This beautifully situated detached bungalow is on a working croft that has been in the family for generations and is set on an open hillside with woods behind, enjoying unrestricted panoramic views of the hills. There is an enclosed garden with garden furniture provided to enjoy outdoor living in these wonderful surroundings. The interior is spacious and comfortable with a very homely feel and expresses some of the owner's personal tastes, especially in the living room which features a magnificent white marble fireplace. The local area is rich in things to see and do - there are castles, distilleries and museums, or call in at the Shin Falls Visitor Centre to see the leaping salmon and browse at the Harrods outlet ( an hours drive). The medieval town of Dornoch, famous for its antique and gift shops, beaches and the world renowned Royal Dornoch Golf Course, is just 25 mins drive. Fishing can be arranged locally and there is an abundance of scenic walks in the surrounding area. The nearby villlages of Ardgay and Bonar Bridge provide shops, pubs, hotels and a cafe/gift shop.1 double and 2 twin bedrooms (cot available), living room, dining room, kitchen, utility room, bathroom, shower-room.
