Argyll's craggy coastline of hidden beaches is a delight to explore. Visitors can enjoy fishing or sample the local catch at nearby restaurants. Oban (24 miles) offers day excursions to the islands of Mull Kerrera and Coll and sea safaris depart from locally at the marina.

| Tigh-an-Innis is a lovely semi detached bungalow situated within the village of Ardfern on the Craignish Peninsula in the west coast of Argyll. The spacious lounge leads into a sunroom making a wonderful and light living space with large windows and an open aspect facing south west. The kitchen is newly renovated, fully fitted and well equipped. The master bedroom has en suite facilities and a lovely view to the hills. The twin and the bunk bedrooms both overlook the private grassy garden. The bungalow is close to the essential amenities, only a few minutes walk from the local village shop, post office, a cafe and hotel, with pub and restaurant. The village lies on the shores of Loch Craignish providing a wonderful rocky west coast shoreline, with shingle beaches and an abundance of wildlife from seals to otters. The peninsula offers great walks, bird watching, kayaking and sea fishing. Fresh water fishing is also available in many of the hill lochs around the area. Quiet roads make ideal cycle routes as well as many forestry trails in the surrounding countryside. The area is well known for its seafood and local produce, so what better excuse for trying out all the great local restaurants and hotels. Ardfern is a beautiful location to get away from it all or to explore all that Argyll has to offer. There are lots of things to see and do with surrounding stunning scenery to enjoy. Ardfern offers horse riding, water sports, yacht centre, sea cruises out to the islands and cycle hire. At the end of the Ardfern road you can view out to the Gulf of Corryvreckon - the 2nd biggest whirlpool in the Northern Hemisphere. Arduaine Gardens (NTS) is open to the public all year round offering an array of plants due to the warm Gulf Stream currents. Kilmartin Glen is only 5 miles south of Ardfern, with over 350 ancient monuments to find and explore. An area rich in historical legacy, the Kilmartin House Museum is a must visit. Slightly further south is Lochgilphead, the Crinan Canal and the Kintyre Peninsula. Northwards is Seil island and Oban is just over a half hour drive away to access larger shops, a cinema, leisure facilities, a distillery, McCaigs Tower and the ferry terminal to Mull & Iona, Coll, Tiree and Colonsay. Tigh-an-Innis boasts a fantastic central position within Argyll, making it a great holiday location to explore this beautiful region.The property is all on ground floor level has electric heating. |
