Nearby Malham (2 miles) with its famous Tarn and Cove, has shops, pubs and a National Park Centre, whilst the market towns of Settle (6 miles), Skipton and Grassington (both 8 miles) offer a wealth of good shops, pubs and restaurants. Kirkby Malham with a pub serving good food is a 20 minute riverside walk away. |

Airton has a farm shop, teashop/restaurant and Kirkby Malham a 20 minute walk away has a country inn serving food. Malham 2 miles away is a traditional dales village with 2 country inns, shop and National Park Centre and is famous for the dramatic limestone landscapes of Gordale Scar and Malham Cove, plus Malham Tarn where you will discover some of the most spectacular scenery in the dales. The market towns of Skipton, Settle and Grassington have a range of individual shops, restaurants and pubs and are all within a 20 minute drive. |
