The elegant Georgian market town of Berwick straddles the River Tweed and sits just 10 miles across the border into north Northumberland. It offers many facilities including a cinema / theatre, leisure centre with indoor swimming and an array of quaint tea rooms, shops and restaurants. A regular train service from Berwick takes only 40 minutes to reach the heart of the cultural city of Edinburgh, renowned for its festivals, arts and music venues, its superb castle and Medieval buildings and not forgetting the indulgent shopping experience along the Royal Mile!
